This scarf is inspired by a rare and delicate orchid species that grows only in certain regions of Türkiye. Named after ancient Lycia, the “Land of Light,” this unique plant is currently under threat of extinction. The Mediterranean Conservation Society is working to ensure the survival of the Lycian orchid through seed collection and germination efforts. To highlight this endangered species, Haremlique Istanbul collaborated with botanical artist Işık Güner. Her carefully prepared botanical painting was reinterpreted by our design team and transformed into four exclusive scarf designs. A portion of the proceeds from the sales of these scarves will be donated to the Mediterranean Conservation Society to support the preservation of the Lycian orchid. 100% silk. Made in Türkiye.
